Navigation prefetching and visual polish

Link prefetching as links enter the viewport, seamless search button rendering between page loads, hero globe fade-in, and CHANGELOG.md added.

  • Internal links are now prefetched as they enter the viewport (prefetch: { prefetchAll: true } in astro.config.mjs), speeding up page transitions.

User interface polish

  • Search button: The header search button is now shown on first paint using an inline script in <head>, removing the visible blink between page loads.
  • Hero globe: The hero canvas starts transparent and fades in smoothly over --motion-slow once its initial frame has been drawn. Under reduced motion, the still frame is displayed immediately.

Repository

  • Added CHANGELOG.md in the project root to record changes to the theme across releases.
