Initial release of the Nightgrid theme: eight page layouts, dark single-accent tokens, four visual presets, search dialog, and complete documentation.

Nightgrid is a dark, single-accent Astro theme for software product websites. It builds to static HTML, with small scripts only where an interaction needs one, and ships no tracking.

Pages and structure

  • Home page: an animated canvas globe hero, product features, timeline feed, FAQ accordion, and closing call to action.
  • Documentation: categorized articles, in-page table of contents, and search filtering.
  • Blog: article layout with topic filtering, author metadata, and an RSS 2.0 feed (/rss.xml).
  • Changelog: release notes supporting both timeline and simple flat list layouts.
  • Product pages: about page, pricing table with billing toggle, contact page with topic routing, and legal pages (privacy policy and terms of service).

Design system and configuration

  • Visual presets: four built-in presets (nightgrid, midnight-slate, emerald-calm, pitch-monochrome) configured through src/theme.config.ts.
  • Site configuration: single-file configuration (src/site.config.ts) for navigation, footer columns, announcement bar, and metadata.
  • Components: reusable UI primitives in src/components/ui/ built with CSS custom properties and standard design tokens.
  • Search: command palette modal dialog indexing all pages, documentation, blog posts, and release notes.
